Chafic El Khazen And The Skybar Success Story

Since first opening in 2003 at the top of the Palm Beach Hotel and moving to the top of BIEL in 2007, Skybar has helped reinvent and shape Beirut's nightlife scene. Masterfully managed by Chafic El Khazen, Skybar has become a  must-see destination to locals and tourists alike. The nightclub has hosted some of the biggest names on the international entertainment industry and was featured in top international magazines and newspapers, helping set it apart from other venues in the Middle East. Great design, cutting-edge technologies and impeccable service have been instrumental in reaching such a status. Since 2003, Lebanese and foreign party goers have flocked to Skybar to drink and dance the night away in front of stunning views of the Lebanese mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. Now located at BIEL, the club can accommodate 2,500 revelers/ The bar alone is 60 meters long and comfortably seats 140 people. On display are also 350 square meters of LED screens, the largest such display in the world, which show serene images at cocktail hour and then switches to more vivid stuff later in the evening. With a staff of 170 and 100 valet parkers, the club warrants to be considered as a full fledged enterprise whose name keeps on spreading throughout the world, synonymous with Lebanon's open-minded and festive culture...
